my story

My path to herbal medicine wasn't through a straight path—I came to it because I was searching.

During my time in the U.S. Marine Corps, I was exposed to toxins that would later impact my health in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. Years later, I found myself navigating reproductive challenges, including infertility, and looking for answers that never quite felt complete within conventional care.

That search led me somewhere unexpected—to the plants.

At first, it was simple curiosity. But the more I worked with herbs, the more something deeper began to unfold. I started to experience healing in ways I hadn’t before—not just physically, but in how I related to my body, my energy, and my life.

Herbs supported me through years of rebuilding, into my 40s, and through menopause. Along the way, what I found wasn’t just relief—it was a relationship. A deep respect for the intelligence of the natural world and the quiet, steady ways it invites us back into balance.

That experience changed everything. It led me to formally study and step into this work as a Master Herbalist and Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

Today, I support women who are feeling depleted, disconnected, or unheard—women who are ready for a different kind of approach to their health. My work brings together herbal medicine, mindful practices, and realistic lifestyle shifts that meet you where you are. There’s no rigid formula here. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to help you reconnect with that inner knowing, while offering guidance, structure, and support along the way.

My path has also included training as an Earth Spirit Medicine™ Shamanic Practitioner, which has deepened my relationship with the unseen aspects of healing—the energetic, the intuitive, and the sacred. It’s a layer that informs how I listen, how I hold space, and how I walk alongside others in their process.

Everything I offer is grounded in lived experience. I understand what it’s like to feel like your body isn’t responding the way it “should.” I also know how powerful it can be to approach healing in a way that is steady, supported, and deeply connected to something larger than ourselves.

When I’m not working with clients or teaching, you’ll find me at home on my quiet farm in western Wisconsin. It’s where I grow medicinal plants, where I return to stillness, and where so much of my own practice continues to unfold.

I spend time meditating beneath my favorite ash tree, wandering through the creek I can’t seem to stay away from, and sitting on the porch in conversation with all my friends—human, animal, plant, and everything in between.
